I can't believe the holidays are nearly over! It has gone so quickly and I've had so much fun. I'm going to be in year 10 this year and am going to start my GCSE's!!!
Anyway, I'm going to tell you about what I've been loving and reaching for in August.
W7 in the buff palette: Finally I have realised that I love it! It just has a great mix of shimmery shades, I do wish it had a few more mattes though because I love to have a matte as a base in my crease. I did use one of the shades from my Rimmel London 5 palette, the dark brown, as my crease/transition shade.
Rimmel stay matte primer: I get really oily skin anyway, but in summer I just turn into a greasy mess. This helps a lot, under makeup or even alone, it reduces my pores and my shine, I can't ask for anything more really.
Benefit they're real mascara: I have the mini size and it is just a good mascara, there are some just as good or better at the drugstore but this is the one I have been reaching for recently.
Makeup Revolution sugar and spice blush palette: This highly pigmented blush palette comes with 6 matte shades, one baked blush and one highlighter, all with stunning pigmentation. It is definitely for the fuchsia lovers and you need a really light hand.
Bourjois rouge edition velvet, 02 frambourjoise: This is a really pretty dark pink shade with a lovely smell and the softest texture ever. It doesn't last an awfully long time but wears evenly and isn't too hard to remove. Quite a thin consistency but easy to apply.
Comment below what products you have been loving recently!!! <3
My name's Hannah and I really love makeup (among other things). I just love everything about it so i decided to make a blog!!! I also have an instagram @basicallyymakeup

What I think of: Primark
As a teenager with little money, I am always on the hunt for a bargain - whether it be for clothes, makeup or anything else really. Even if I am not actually paying for it I still want that accomplished feeling when you get a good deal. I recently discovered Primark, a shop where they sell clothes and shoes for cheap; they also have their own makeup line now.
They always have things on sale so it is a great place if you want a good deal, the clothes generally aren't bad either! There will be something for everyone's taste. You can always find a t-shirt for £2 or some jeans for a fiver! Genuinely their stuff is great.
However, good deals come at a cost. They use sweatshops (not much difference from other highly know retailers, but still to be thought about). If you don't know, sweatshops are factories in LEDCs (Less Economically Developed Countries) where the workers are paid very little for their long hours and put in horrible conditions. A lot of other companies use sweat shops as well, only the really pricy ones don't, so there isn't much difference between buying from Primark and a slightly more expensive shop. I just thought I'd share all of the pros and cons of the shop(in my opinion).
There are not many cons of Primark and overall I think it's a good shop and I would recommend it.

Finish 15 by Halloween
I'm going to introduce you guys to a project pan I am taking part in, finish 15 by Halloween. Basically I just want to pan or finish off some products by October 31st, which is a decent amount of time and I'm sure I can get at least a few completely finished off.
Items:
1. Miss Sporty the meow look mascara
2.Natural collection lash build mascara
3.Miss Sporty morning baby cream blush, coral flush
4.Miss Sporty so matte pressed powder
5.Miss Sporty just clear mascara
6.Collection lasting perfection concealer
7.Fruity lip gloss
8.Barry M cor balmy, Adam and Eve
9.Rimmel stay matte pressed powder
10.MUA pro-base colour correcting powder
11.MUA lipstick, shade 14 bare
12.Maybelline baby lips, oh orange
13.Maybelline baby lips, pink shock
14.Makeup Revolution focus and fix concealer
15.MUA lip liner, caramel nougat
I'm not panning all of these because I don't like them (I am panning some for that reason though!), some of them are old and I want to use them up or I just don't reach for them and use project pans to help me actually get use out of all of my makeup.

One a week eyeshadow palette
I decided that to use all of my eyeshadow palettes and give them the love they deserve, I am going to use one for a week and no other. This will get me to try them out and use all the shades, I might fall in love with some that I didn't think I would like.
I don't know what order to do them in, I have 4 palettes which I want to use:
MUA undressed,
W7 in the buff,
Makeup Revolution iconic 3,
Makeup revolution fortune favours the brave.
I think that I am going to take the W7 in the buff on holiday with me, this means I literally can't use any other palette. I don't use this palette that much because I just love the MUA undressed so much.
Sorry this was another short one!!! <3

July makeup faves
This blog post will tell you all of the makeup products that I have been LOVING in July.
Primark lip liners: I have two shades, Wine and Dark Pink. They are £1 each and are really creamy and they don't move about, I honestly prefer them to the Rimmel ones which I just find to be too thick. I adore Dark pink as it's just a perfect colour for a dark nudey pinky lip look.
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara: it separates, volumises and lengthens; what else do you want in a mascara? I got it when it had an offer on so it was £5.99, but it normally retails for £7.99. This is quite pricy if you are on a budget (there are some decent, cheaper alternatives available) but if the price doesn't matter, I would definitely recommend this.
Pure 3 in 1 cleansing wipes: they are from pound world and you get two packs for £1, which is excellent value. They are non-scented wipes that just easily wipe away makeup, and you get 30 for 50p! I got them after a youtuber I watch raved about them and they are great!
MUA highlighter, pink shimmer: I know I've talked about this before but I will rave about it again, it's just amazing!!! It has a holographic shimmer, I can't describe it , it's just amazing and so pigmented!!! When I first got it there was a hard layer on top but when you get it off, it has incredible pigment. Hopefully the swatch will do it justice.
W7 full time lip colour: This is a dual sided lipstick, one side a matte liquid lipstick and one side a clear gloss. I have the shade Angel Dust and it's a stunning dark pink nude(pale skin). The liquid lipstick looks shimmery in the tube but it's completely matte on the lips. The only thing is, don't wear the gloss onto of the liquid lipstick. It makes it move around, ball up and look terrible. However the matte lippie looks great on it's own. It is quite cheap but you only get 6g in total so it isn't actually the best deal. It was a bit disappointing because of the gloss, but it's in my favourites because of the formula of the matte liquid lipstick.
Thanks for reading!!! Comment what product(s) you've been loving recently <3

Wilko's beauty products
Wilkos (Wilkinsons) is a shop (only in England I believe!) that sells everyday essential for an amazing price. They sell everything you could need ranging from garden equipment to cookware to beauty products, the latter of which I will be reviewing today. They do sell brands such as Rimmel and Maybelline but I will be talking about their own brand (not cosmetics but other beauty products).
Firstly, Wilkos' own products (hand cream, lip balm etc.) come in a few fragrances, all of which are really strong. My favourite are orange and pomelo, passion fruit and melon, and strawberry and pomegranate.
Shower gel: this is a nice texture and it was 85p! I really enjoyed it and the packaging was good too.
Hand cream: LOVELY!!! I have 3 of these in all the shades I mentioned as my favourite, they are just nice, refreshing and come in good packaging, a plastic bottle with a pump. They are 95p each.
Lip Balm: MEHHH. These are 95p each and come in a round tin, pretty packaging and you get 15g of product. However, the balm itself it solid as a rock and when you rub it, nothing comes off. Therefore, it is not exactly my favourite product, and has a lot to be desired.
Face primer: I couldn't believe they had a face primer, and for only £3 as well!!! It claimed to be both a light reflecting and a mattifying primer, so I was curious but didn't know what to expect either. It is really soft and is white with a slight pink undertone but this is undetectable when on the skin. I cannot tell you how soft to the touch it is and it makes the skin feel instantly soft and matte. However I haven't really noticed my makeup staying on much more than usual or looking any matter (or any more light-reflecting in fact!) but it might be because of how oily my skin is. In any case, I'm going to keep trying it, to see if it affects my skin in any way.
Makeup brushes: These are the softest makeup brushes I have ever tried, I have the angled blush brush and it's amazing, better that real techniques. If you want a cheap 'dupe' (that I think is better than the real but you need to try for yourself) then this is where you need to be looking.
Overall Wilkos has some hits and some misses, but I think you should try them out yourself if you are interested, hope this blog post helped!!!

Favourite nail polishes
Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about the range of nail polishes that I've been loving recently.
Firstly, I'm going to talk about the rita ora collab with rimmel, producing a range of nail polishes with fresh, spring colours. Rimmel left them in it's own packaging, so you can tell the brand. I got the shade "878 roll in the grass" which is a lovely turquoise colour. The first coat of this is quite blue but as you build it up, it gets more green. It was £2.99 and you get 8ml of product.
Then I have a maybelline nail polish and it's from their 40 second express finish line in the shade "250". This is a beautiful purple, blue colour with hints of glitter which has a stunning effect on the nails! It has 10ml of product and I got it for £1.99.
Another nail polish I enjoy is the nailsinc polish in the shade "tate" which is a lovely dark red. It has a good pigmentation and formula. It has 10ml of product but I don't know how much it costs (sorry!).
We have a topcoat next, the Barry M matte topcoat. It does what it says on the tin, it makes whatever nail polish you wear beneath it.You get 10ml of product and it was £2.99.
I really enjoy the W7 nail polishes, but particually this pink one in the shade "110 clubbing". It was only £2, and you get 15ml of product! It has a really good amount of pigmemtation and I would definately recommend them.
