May makeup favourites

As I'm on a makeup ban, these probably won't change for a while!!!

Today I'm going tell you what my May favourites have been and what I've been obsessed with all month.
My first favourite is the seventeen miracle matte pressed powder (my shade is ivory porcelain). I love this powder because its really creamy, not chalky at all (like the Rimmel stay matte) it has a beautiful finish and lasts a long time. Also the packaging is amazing, you can easily travel with this without fear of it breaking. It costs £3.99 and has 10g of product
My next May favourite is the MUA highlighter in 'pink shimmer'. I have pale, pink undertoned skin so this is the perfect shade for me. It is only £3 and you get 7.5g of product. It is very wearable (I wear it almost every day) and so beautiful.
Another favourite is the 24hour superstay foundation by Maybelline, which I did a separate blog post on, go check it out!!! http://basicallyhannahx.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/maybelline-super-stay-foundation-1st.html
I am in love with the master precise felt tip eyeliner from Maybelline. I did a separate blog post on this as well!!! https://basicallyhannahx.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/maybelline-master-precise-eyeliner-1st.html
The final product that I have found recently and have been loving is the exaggerate lip liner by Rimmel London in 005 'pure'. This is a really pigmented, beautiful lip liner with a really nice texture. It is normally £3.99 in superdrug but I got it in poundworld!!!! I do love a bargain.
Thank you so much for reading, comment feedback!!!

Maybelline master precise eyeliner, 1st impressions

I love winged eyeliner. I also love cheap things and getting a good deal, which is why i tend to stick to the cheaper end of drugstore makeup. My previous felt tip eyeliner was from collection and it was £2.99. It was a good eyeliner and did the job in my beginner stage (the tip was a bit thick so it was tricky to get a thin line, especially if you mess up a lot , like me). It was getting old and a bit dry, so i decided to purchace a new felt tip eyeliner. At the time maybelline was on a two for £10 offer which I couldn't resist! (I got the eyeliner and the foundation in my previous post)

It costs £5.99
It has a 0.4mm point
Mine is in black

The eyeliner has a fine point, which I love for a presice application. It applied very smoothly and there was a decent amount of product. It dries pretty much instantly and has a natural look, quite dewy.

I really like this product because it doesn't smudge and even if you do mess up, the tip is so fine that it still looks good.

As you can see in the photo the pigment of this is very strong and it doesn't run out of ink. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who likes eyeliner, because all stages of makeup would be able to use it.

Maybelline Super Stay foundation 1st impressions

Hey guys, so today I'm going to be telling you my opinion on the maybelline superstay foundation,  the first time i tried it. My shade is 05 beige which was the palest, even this was too dark. I am very pale and maybelline products are always a shade too dark.It is still wearable if you blend it a lot.

The price was £8.99 in superdrug, but it was in a two for £10 offer (with the eyeliner that will be in my next post) which I'm chuffed about.

Claims:

  • No colour shifting, dulling or fading
  • Breathable and comfortable
  • Non-tranfer: won't rub off
  • Dermatologist-tested
For my 1st impressions it was really good, I love the texture and finish of this. I have oily skin so most foundations that offer a 'fresh look' will leave me looking like a greasy mess. However this one made me look amazing! It made my skin more matte than it naturally is but still looking healthily dewy! It was a medium, buildable coverage and it felt very lightweight on the skin.

Throughout the day it still looked as it did the moment I applied! Obviously I didn't leave it on for 24 hours (who wears makeup for 24 hours straight?) but for the (approximately) 8 hours I wore it, it looked flawless the whole time. It didn't rub off when I accidently touched my face a few times and sat very comfortably on my skin for the whole time. Overall I would definitely recommend this, the only issue I have is the shade range. If you have literally white skin this will be wayyy too dark and (in my Superdrug at least) the shades only went up to an orangy tan. Apart from that, if you can find your shade, I would definitely recommend this product.

Comment what you'd like a review of next time!!!
